Following the Taliban's takeover of the country on August 15, 2021, the offices of Daikundi and Aftab radios, as well as Sabzha TV, were looted. As a result, a significant portion of their equipment was stolen, rendering these media outlets inoperative. GDI falsely declared the confiscated items as government property.
